- Pause whatever you’re doing.
- Close your eyes (or soften your gaze).
- Inhale slowly… and exhale.
- Ask yourself: What am I feeling in my body?
- Take three slow breaths—just to notice.
It only takes a minute, but it gives your nervous system a break. You’ll feel more in control, centered, and ready to respond with calm.
